System Briefing
Källa 2, the Point of Use filter comes with dual-cartridges namely the Ultra-Filtration
Membrane (UF K8) and Activated Carbon (GAC K8) to be installed under the kitchen sink
or on the table top. Källa 2 serves two main basic requirements of the kitchen water
consumption; extremely clean, toxic free, safe and healthy water for drinking purpose,
and high flow-rate for washing requirement.
The main incoming water feeding into the ultra-filtration membrane will be directed to
two-different processes, either to flush the membrane for cleaning purposes or to
filtration for consumption.
Flushing of the mem
brane is naturally done when the “main water tap” is turned on. It
helps to clean the membrane, prevent it from choking and enhance its life span. The
flushed-out water is safe to be used for cleaning purposes in the kitchen. Filtration takes
place when th
e “filtration faucet” is turned on. Water passes through the UF membrane
with particulate in the water reduced down to 0.01 micron before passing through the
GAC media for Chlorine and odour removal from the water. Filtered water is now safe to
be consumed
from the “filtrate faucet”.
Källa 2 comes with a Digital Display Module with daily counter and buzzer features. The
digital counter starts from 365 days and counting down on daily basis. The buzzer will
trigger an alarm when the
counter indicates “0” to
inform user to replace with a new
cartridge.
