The LED ring displays
a white half moon to
signal that the blood
sample has been trans-
ferred to the Bloom
Test strip.
A white light merging together from both ends to
form a circle indicates that the Bloom Lab recog-
nizes that a Bloom Test strip has been inserted.
Successful insertion is notified by a white heartbeat
pattern. Duration: <10 seconds.
A spinning, white
loader is shown.
A blue, circular light
will pulse until the new
results have been read
in the Bloom App.

6.2. Error case
Errors are indicated via the Bloom Lab’s LED ring in red. Error messages and their meanings are described in table N° 2.
Further information about the error is displayed in the connected Bloom App.
Recoverable errors
Fatal error
A blinking red and white ring
means that something went
wrong. The user is invited to
check their Bloom App to learn
how to solve the problem.
A steady, bold red LED circle indicates
that an error has occurred which will
require servicing of the Bloom Lab to
rectify (for contact details see section 9).

7. Troubleshooting
7.1. Bloom Lab
Report fatal errors and malfunctions of the Bloom Lab to Bloom Diagnostics by making use of the contact information provided
in section 9. The following table (table N°3) highlights possible errors you might face when performing Bloom Tests, determines
possible malfunction messages, and provides instructions on how to correct those problems.
