Starting Problems
For more detailed instructions, refer to the engine manufacturer’s Operator’s Man-
ual.
One or more of the following items may cause an occasional starting problem:
• The Park Brake must be on to start the bus.
• The Transmission must be in Neutral.
• If the bus is equipped with Vandal Locks, the bus will not start unless the doors
or windows equipped with Vandal Locks are closed.
• Low battery charge.
• A malfunctioning starter.
• Problems with the wiring harness or connections.
• Out of fuel.
