MagnaStar Integration Settings
This section describes the settings necessary to operate the C1000A when interfacing it as the SATCOM
option for the MagnaStar C-2000/AIU.
First, install the harness described previously in the wiring diagram (page 24). Please note that the
harness calls for a jumper between pins 14 and 24 of the AIU, allowing the selection of “Satcom2”
configuration in the AIU.
Next, turn on the equipment.
On the MagnaStar handset, please select the options below:
- Select “Setup (9)”;
- Select “+ More” and enter Passcode (default is ‘0000’);
- Select “AIU (6)”;
- Select “GroundCell (3)”. Please note that key “3” toggles between SATCOM and GroundCell, and
the latter is the correct choice for appropriate operation, eventough it is really a SATCOM system.
