STEP 1
Make sure the fire pit is a safe distance from all combustible materials. If using
directly on the ground, level the area with a rake if necessary and remove any dry
grass, overhanging branches, or other materials that could create a fire hazard.
Place the four side panels on a flat level surface (place a sheet of cardboard or a cloth
in the assembly area to avoid scratching the outside surface of the panels.)
STEP 2
Finger tighten fasteners until all parts are assembled - then finish by tightening all
panels with a screwdriver and a wrench.
Line up two panels so one end with the full opening and one end with the inner
fastener guides, slide together. The panel with the inner fastener guides will slide
inside the other panel. The base/leg section of the panels will overlap but the short
tab that bends should be under the top panel.
Make sure the holes line up and slide long fasteners, from the outside of the panel, in
the upper two holes and finger tighten with nuts. Then use a short bolt to secure the
two leg panels together with the head of the bolt on the outside of the panel and the
nut on the inside. Repeat with the other panels.
