BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE
By performing the troubleshooting steps set out below, you can avoid the need to call for service unnecessarily.
* The oven does not work:
1. Ensure that the electric power cord is properly
connected.
2. Ensure that the door is properly closed.
3. Ensure that the cooking time has been
programmed.
4. Ensure that no fuse has blown and that the mains
power circuit breaker of your home has not tripped.
* Sparks in the cavity:
1. Check your utensils. Never use metal containers or
dishes with metal parts.
2. If you use metal skewers or aluminum foil, make sure
that it does not touch the inner walls of the oven.
If the problem persists, contact your nearest service
station.
A list of these stations is provided with the oven.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Although this oven is fitted with safety features, it is
important that you observe the following precautions:
1. Never disable or tamper with safety features.
2. Never place any object between the front of the
oven and the door and avoid any buildup of dirt or
leftover cleaning products on the door seal
surfaces. Clean the door seal surfaces often with a
mild detergent, rinse them and dry them. Never use
abrasive cleaning powders or pads.
3. When open, never apply heavy loads on the door,
like the weight of a child hanging on to it, for
example, or any other load that could cause the
oven to tip forward, as this could cause injury and
damage the door. Never run the oven when it is
damaged, and observe this rule until it has been
repaired by a qualified service technician. It is
especially important that the oven door closes
properly and that there is no sign of damage to:
i) the door itself (bending),
ii) hinges and latches (broken or loose),
iii) door seals and door seal surfaces.
4. The oven must never be adjusted or repaired by
anyone other than a qualified service technician.
5. The oven must be cleaned regularly and kept free
of any food deposits.
6. Any failure to keep the oven clean may cause
deterioration to the surface which can affect the
oven's service life and possibly cause a dangerous
situation.
