BROILER IGNITER REMOVAL
The following procedure must be performed to properly replace the broiler glow-coil igniter.
1. Shut off power to the unit.
2. Remove (4) sheet metal bite screws securing the igniter to the oven top liner.
3. The wiring of the igniter at the back of the range is designed to be able to gently pull the two wires, one at a time
from the back of the range through the exit hole located at the back of the oven cavity. Please note: If the range
that you are performing service on, does not allow the wires to come through to the oven cavity from the front,
the range must be pulled away from the wall. This will then allow the servicer to disconnect the two wires in the
rear of the range, push the wires to the oven cavity
4. Re-install the new igniter to the oven top liner, and in doing so, you must feed the wires back through the hole in
the rear of the cavity. Connect the two wires together, utilizing the wire caps
5. If range was pulled away from the wall re-install into current position.
6. Turn on power to the range, and test for proper operation.
