BAKE/BROIL THERMOSTAT REPLACEMENT
The following procedure must be performed if the Thermostat control is not rendering any power to the oven or broiler
surface igniters:
1. Shut off all power to the product.
2. Remove (all) the control knobs that are on the front of the range.
3. Remove (all) screws securing the control panel to the front of the range.
4. Remove (all) screws that secure the Thermostat to the control panel.
5. Remove the (2) capillary tube clips from the positioning holes in the oven cavity, then remove the clips from the
capillary bulb.
6. Remove the left front and rear top grates from the range, to gain access to the capillary tube wire, which is routed
through the left side of the burner box bottom.
7. Gently guide the capillary bulb through the top of the oven cavity, as to not bend or damage the bulb.
8. Disconnect the Thermostat wiring one lead at a time and connect to the appropriate terminals on the replacement
Thermostat.
9. Re-route the replacement capillary bulb through the same hole that accommodated the old bulb, and secure to
oven cavity with the existing capillary clips.
10. Reverse steps 4 through 1 in that order.
11. Do a calibration check (see” OVEN CALIBRATION”) on the range to determine whether or not it is in proper
temperature range of dial setting within a 25-degree swing up or down.
