Disposing of the packaging
Separate out the packaging and dispose of it accordingly. Paper and cardboard can be
disposed of with waste paper; plastic film goes into the recyclable waste collection
Disposal of old devices
If the LED lamp can no longer be used, every consumer is
obliged
by law to dispose of the old devices separately from normal household waste
, for
example at a collection point in their community/district. This ensures that old devices are
recycled professionally and that negative effects on the environment are avoided.
Consequently, electrical devices are designated using the symbol shown here.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with household waste
As a consumer, you are obliged by law to dispose of all batteries and rechargeable batteries at
a collection point in your community/district or with a commercial dealer so that they can be
added to an environmentally friendly disposal process.
