Damping
Damping of telescopic
forks
Both the rebound and the
compression damping of
the telescopic forks can
be adapted to the road
condition.
With the rebound, the damp-
ing during rebound is adjust-
ed, and with compression the
damping during compression.
The stiffer the damping, the
greater the compensating
movement of the forks is
damped when riding on rough
road surfaces. When soft
damping is set, the forks
react correspondingly faster
to rough roads.
