When treating another person
the operator or practitioner
should position the tip onto the
point(s) to be treated and
ensure that physical contact is
maintained between him/herself
and the person being treated in
order to complete the circuit.

As an alternative to 3 above,
you can use the wrist strap to
the same effect. The wrist strap
enables one person to treat
another without having to make
physical contact with their skin.
The wrist strap consists of a
lead with a bracelet attachment
at one end and a jack plug at the other. When the wrist strap
is to be used the jack plug should be inserted into the jack
socket on the underside of the device (see diagram on
page 9). The bracelet section should be worn by the patient.

A precision extension tip is also
provided, which can extend the
tip (+) to assist you where an
acupoint is difficult to reach.
This is simply placed over the
tip and is then ready for use.
