IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
When using an electrical product, basic precautions should always be followed. Read all
instructions before using this treadmill.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This product must be grounded! If treadmill should malfunction or break down, grounding
provides a path of least resistance for electrical current to reduce the risk of electrical
shock. This product is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor
and a grounding plug. This plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is
properly installed and grounded in accordance with local codes and ordinances.
DANGER!
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of
electrical shock. Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman if you are in doubt as to
whether the product is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the
product – if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electrical shock or injury to persons, take the following
precautions.
DO NOT leave the treadmill unattended at any time when plugged in. Unplug the
treadmill from the power source when it is not in use.
DO NOT use the treadmill if the unit is wet or the plug or cable is damaged or the
treadmill is not working properly. DO NOT use damaged or defective equipment.
Keep equipment out of use until unit is repaired by a trained technician.
Keep the power cable and plug away from heated surfaces.
NEVER place the power cord under carpeting or have any object on top of the
power cord.
ONLY use the power cord provided with this treadmill.
To disconnect, turn the switch to the off position, then remove the plug from the
outlet.
