6. contraindications and Precautions
The Shiatsu Massager 599BG is meant for use only as a self-massager and cannot replace
proper medical treatment.
Use of the massager is contraindicated for all of the following:
• for all electrical implants (pacemakers, etc.) or metal implants
• for all types of injuries, open wounds and ruptured discs
•
for pregnant women
Contact your physician if you have any questions or concerns with using the Shiatsu Massager.
the device is only for consumer use and not meant for commercial or medical use.
not to be used on pets or children and not for use by children.
the device is to be used only for the purposes described in this manual. the manufacturer ac-
cepts no liability for damages or injuries that occur as a result of improper use, or use contrary to
the instructions contained in this manual.
7. Warranty
The manufacturer guarantees (for retail customers) this device to be free of defects in manufac
-
turing for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. Within this guarantee period, we will
correct all defects due to material or manufacturing defects, either by means of repair or replace-
ment, at our discretion.
Not included in this warranty are:
•
damages caused by incorrect use
•
normal wear and tear
•
defects that do not impair the value or utility of the massager or do not impair these to a
material degree
the warranty is void if repairs are attempted or performed by anyone not authorized by us.
any warranty claims within this 2-year period, whether it involves repairs or replacements, shall
not extend the warranty beyond this period.
