Control keypad
The control keypad is the link between the BOGE frequency converter and the
user. The control keypad features an alphanumeric display with seven status
displays (RUN, , READY, STOP, ALARM, FAULT) and three indicators for
the control place (I/O term/Keypad/BusComm).
Furthermore the control keypad has three status LEDs (green – green – red).
A detailed description you will find in the chapter "Status LEDs (green –
green – red)".
The control information, i.e. menu number, menu description or displayed
value and the numeric information are presented in three text lines.
The frequency converter can be operated by means of the nine push-but-
tons of the control keypad. Furthermore, the buttons can be used for setting
parameters or displaying operational data
The keypad is detachable and isolated from the input line potential.
Drive status displays
The drive status displays tell the user what the status of the motor and the
drive is and whether the motor control software has detected irregularities in
motor or frequency converter functions.
RUN
= Motor is running – blinks, when the STOP command was entered
and the frequency converter is ramping the motor down.
= Indicates the direction of motor rotation.
STOP
= Indicates that the drive is not running.
READY = Lights when the power supply is on.
In case of a failure the symbol will not light up.
ALARM = Indicates that the drive is running outside a certain limit range of
operation and a warning is given.
FAULT
= Indicates that unsafe operating conditions occurred due to which the
drive was stopped.
