Installation and tensioning of the cable.
This instruction is applicable to the following series of article numbers:
SPF-28, SPFE28, SPM-402, and SPME402.
Preparation:
Unwind the cable from the start station to the end station to avoid twists and hitches.
Please put the cable end in the top element of the start station (OME-2226775) like is
mentioned on detail 243 and install the 3 iron grips (OBV-5412000) according to
detail 244.
Please install on cable the following parts in the following sequence:
Shock buffer with flange (OKU-STB1205)
Shock buffer (OKU-BUF1205)
Trolley (OME-5259700)
Please make sure to avoid sand from entering the trolley by putting the trolley on
plastic.
Shock buffer (OKU-BUF1205)
Buffer holder (OKU-BUH7805)
Spring (OME-2686875)
Buffer (OKU-VEH7805)
Installation:
Please put the free cable end into the end station and tighten the cable manually to
make sure that the cable hangs 1.5 meter free from the ground and not higher! Please
see detail 244.
Install now an iron grip tight to the top element and tighten the bolts with 70 Nm.
Install now the second iron grip on a 5 cm distance and tighten the bolts also here.
Install the seat now according to detail 1885.
Tension the cable for the first time: no load on seat.
Please tension the cable by using the tensioning device (OME-2227575).
Please see detail 244. Please tension the cable in such a way that the free space
between bottom side of the seat and the ground level is
67 cm
on the lowest point of
the cable hanging. This point is situated approx. 4 meter from the top element of the
end station OME-2226775.
Please install the iron grips (OBV-5412000) according to detail 244.
