outlet should be cleaned out using a wooden slat.
1. Turn the depth adjuster to set the planning depth. The depth can be set between 0 mm and 2 mm as required,
according to the scale which is at the left next to the depth adjuster. After finishing work, set the planning depth
so that the blade is retracted and thus protected from damage.
2. Insert the plug into the socket. Now press the lock
-
off button at the left hand side of the handle and then the
switch at the bottom of the handle. When working keep the switch pressed, as soon as the switch is released the
machine stops. The electric planer should be placed on the workpiece only after the cutter head has been set in
motion.
3. Maximum depth of cut is 2 mm. The manufacturer suggests an ideal depth of 1.8 mm for a better quality of
cut.
4. In order to obtain a flat and smooth surface we recommend a rough cut at first and then a fine cut with a
smaller depth of cut (we recommend a depth of 0.5 mm). Applying
an even pushing force during planning lessens
the danger of accidents and increases the lifespan of the blades.
5. Easy and quick chamfering of 45 edges is enabled by the V
-
groove incorporated in the front shoe. Place the
planer with the groove on the edge of the workpiece and guide it along the edge. Good results are obtained if
attention to an even push and correct angle is paid.
6. Use the parallel guide in order to guide the planer parallel to the edge of the workpiece. Push the parallel
guide from the left into the hole at the front of the planer and tighten the setscrew (see sketch, Page 8), after
you have set the guide to the desired position. This enables the processing of a complete workpiece, the width
of which is less than the blade width (e.g., the narrow side of a board or plank). With the aid of the guide the
effective plane width can be set at any desired value between 0 and 82 mm, so that, for example, only a section
of a wider workpiece can be worked on. In such cases and with the use
of the parallel guide, the planed surface
runs cleanly and parallel to the edge of the workpiee. Take care that the rear part of the parallel guide always
rests on the bottom of the planer during planning.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a specially prepared cord avadable through the service
organization.

Dust EXTRACTION
Your planer is designed to accept a dust bag, which can be fitted to the left or right chip deflector outlet.
Put the dust bag mouth into the outlet of the planer, and turn an angle, the dust bag can be locked on the planer
