Maintain the planers. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other
condition that may affect the planers operation. If damaged, have the planer repaired before use.
Many
accidents are caused by poorly maintained the planers.

Keep cutting tools sharp and clean
. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to
bind and are easier to control.
g)
Use the planer, accessories and tool bits etc., in accordance with these instructions and in the manner
intended for the particular type of the planer, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be
performed.
Use of the planer for operations different from intended could result in a hazardous situation.

Wait for the cutter to stop before setting the tool down.
An exposed cutter may engage the surface leading to possible loss
of control and serious injury.

Have your planer serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts

●Always keep the power cable fed to the rear of the machine.
●Never plane over metal objects, nails or screws.

●Only place the planer against the workpiece after switching it on.
● The last plate must always lay flat on the workpiece when working.
● Do not clear dust etc. from the dust outlet with your fingers. Use a piece of wood to dislodge any trapped
planning debris.
● For the planer, if the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by a specially prepared cord available
through the service organization.
