What warranty do I have with my Boru Stove
Boru Stoves offer a limited extended warranty cover of 6 years on the Carraig Mor 20kW boiler, excluding
wearable parts, from date of purchase, including your statutory rights.
Please be advised your extended warranty must be activated within three months of purchase.
Failure to activate the extended warranty within three months from date of purchase will result in Boru
Stoves cancelling their offer of extended warranty.
This offer can be availed of by registering online at

or with the
extended warranty form on page 35 of this manual supplied with this user manual.
To activate an extended warranty all Boru Stoves MUST be purchased from an authorised dealer. This
extended warranty does not include your wearable parts.

Why am I not getting heat from my stove
Check your stove has been installed & insulated/sealed correctly in accordance with Building Regulations and
the guidelines set out in this manual
Check all ropes & seals are intact
Check your fuel has less than 20% moisture content

Why can’t I get my glass to stay clean
Refer to your installation manual for the operation of your airwash, once used correctly, this will keep your
glass clean as your fire burns
Check the moisture content and quality of the fuel being burned
See page 17-19 for guidelines
Why is the glass stained with a white residue
This is a chemical reaction with the fuel being burned in the stove
You need to change your fuel immediately

Why has my grate burned out in a very short space of time
You need to change your fuel as it may be too harsh on your wearable parts
Refer to your installation manual for recommended fuels
An excessive draught will cause your stove to over fire and can shorten the lifespan of the parts and/or stove
