5. Operation
1
Switching on the lamp
To connect to the mains, fully insert the plug into the socket. Once inserted, the „5 min“ LED will
flash. This is the readiness indicator (standby). Press the On/Off button (4) once to switch on the lamp.
2
Enjoying the light
The recommended duration of treatment is maximum 15 minutes and should be limited to a ma-
ximum of two treatments a day. We recommend selecting a shorter radiation period to start with.
However, the skin of some people may show an over-sensitive (e.g. with extreme redness, blistering,
itching, heavy sweating) or allergic reaction to heat radiation, even when the lamp is used correctly.
3
LED display/timer
The infrared lamp indicates your current treatment time with the aid of 3 LEDs.
The treatment time can be set at the following 3 levels.
To scroll through the timer, hold down the On/Off button (4) until the required timer level lights up.
The levels are as follows:
Treatment time
Number of lit LEDs
5 minutes
1
10 minutes
2
15 minutes
3
The lamp switches off automatically once the set treatment time has elapsed. To switch off the lamp
manually, repeatedly press the On/Off button (4) until only the „5 min“ LED is flashing, the other LEDs
are off and the lamp goes out.
