Explanation of symbols
Warnings
In warnings, signal words at the beginning of a warning are used
to indicate the type and seriousness of the ensuing risk if
measures for minimizing danger are not taken.
The following signal words are defined and can be used in this
document:
DANGER
DANGER
indicates that severe or life-threatening personal
injury will occur.
WARNING
WARNING
indicates that severe to life-threatening personal
injury may occur.
CAUTION
CAUTION
indicates that minor to medium personal injury may
occur.
NOTICE
NOTICE
indicates that material damage may occur.
Important information
The info symbol indicates important information where there is
no risk to people or property.

General safety instructions

General description
These installation instructions are directed to the user of the
device as well as to approved gas, water and heating engineers
and electricians.
▶ Read and retain the operating instructions
(device, heating controller, etc.) prior to operation.
▶ Read the installation instructions (device, etc.) prior to
installation.
▶ Observe the safety and warning instructions.
▶ Follow applicable national and regional regulations,
technical regulations and guidelines.
▶ Document all work performed.

Use according to the provisions of applicable
regulations
The appliance was conceived to heat or store potable water.
Please observe all country-specific regulations, guidelines and
standards for potable water.
The appliance should be installed in closed systems.
Any other usage is deemed as unsuitable. Any possible
damages arising from unsuitable use cannot be attributed to
the manufacturer.

Installation
▶ The installation must only be carried out by an authorised
contractor.
▶ The electrical installation must include, the value of the
device, an omnipolar disconnecting device (circuit breaker,
fuse) according to the local installation rules in force
(30 mA differential circuit breaker and earthed).
▶ Whenever applicable, the installation of the appliance and/
or the electrical accessories must comply with standard
IEC 60364-7-701.
▶ The appliance must be installed in a facility free of the risk
of frost.
▶ The appliance was designed to be used in an altitude of up
to 3000 metres.
▶ Before conducting the electrical connections, the hydraulic
connections must be made first and then you should attest
the tightness.
▶ During the installation, please turn off the appliance from
electricity.
