Volume
Adjusting the volume
The system volume can be adjusted incremen-
tally from 0 (off) to 32 (maximum).

To increase the system volume, turn the
volume control

clockwise.
u
To decrease the system volume, turn the
volume control

anticlockwise.
Muting the volume (MUTE)
You can instantaneously mute the system
volume.

Briefly press button

Cancelling mute
To return to your previously set volume level,

briefly press button

again.
Telephone/navigation audio
Mute activation whilst using a
telephone
If your car radio is connected to a mobile
phone or navigation system, the car radio will
be muted when a phone call arrives or the navi-
gation system makes a spoken announcement.
The call or voice output will be played over the
car radio's loudspeakers.
In order for this feature to work, the mobile
phone or navigation system must be connected
to the car radio (Chamber C2 at the back of
the device).
When a phone call arrives or a navigation an-
nouncement is made, “PHONE” appears in the
display

Adjusting the volume for tel-
ephone/navigation audio (PHVOL)
The volume level of phone calls or navigation
voice output can be adjusted:

Press the
MENU button

to open the
menu.
u
Press the
MENU button

repeatedly
until “PHVOL” and the current setting
appear in the display

Turn the volume control

anticlockwise
or clockwise to set the volume to a setting
between 0 and 32.
Note:
You do not have to wait for the
current setting to be displayed in
order for you to be able to change it
by turning the volume control

You can also adjust the volume during
a phone call or navigation announce-

The volume level that you set is stored
automatically.
Activating/deactivating the confir-
mation beep (BEEP)
A confirmation beep sounds when certain
actions take place, such as the long press of
a button. You can deactivate the confirmation
beep:
