The service begins in the automatic mode. Each

is complete, the
Hose drain
screen is displayed.
Warning - Risk of frostbite!
If refrigerant escapes, there is a risk of frost-
bite to the hands and body

Carefully disconnect filling hoses as all
hoses can contain pressurized refrigerant.

Turn the quick couplers in the counterclockwise
direction and detach the HP/LP couplers from the
service connections on the vehicle.

to start draining the refrigerant from the
hoses.
Once the refrigerant is drained, a summary
screen is displayed.

Setting custom parameters
This mode of servicing is ideal for vehicles that are not
listed in the ACS 651/751 database.

Refer to chapter 4.8 for changing the default
settings.

Once set, custom parameters are valid only for a
single service.

Before starting the service, refer to chapter 6.4.

Refer to the vehicle-specific documentation for the
A/C service parameters.

Use only new oil to replace the amount removed
during the recovery process. Used oil should be
discarded as per applicable federal, state and local
requirements.
1.
Connect the power cable to the mains supply.
2.
Turn on the master switch.
3.
In the main menu, select
"Vehicle A/C Service"
and
press
E
.
4.
Select the operator name and press
E
.
For
ACS 651, select the service type - quick service or
precision service - and proceed to step 5.
5.
Check the type of vehicle being serviced - hybrid or
non-hybrid.
6.
Check if the correct fresh oil bottle - PAG or POE - is
connected.

If you are switching from a hybrid vehicle to a non-
hybrid vehicle or vice versa, perform flushing. Refer
to chapter 6.8 for more information on flushing.
7.
Select
"Automatic Mode"
and press
E
