Operating the appliance

Note: 

Switch on the extractor hood when you start cooking and 

switch it off again several minutes after you have finished 

cooking. This is the most effective way of removing the kitchen 

fumes.

Connecting the remote control to the appliance

If the appliance cannot be operated with the remote control, 

e.g. after the battery has been changed, the connection 

between the remote control and the appliance must be re-

established.

1.

Press and hold the 

@

 button.

2.

Attach the appliance to the mains voltage.
A long audible signal sounds. The remote control has been 

connected to the appliance.

Note: 

If no audible signal sounds within 30 seconds, repeat 

this procedure.

Setting the fan

Switching on

1.

Press the 

@

 button.

The fan starts at fan setting 2.

2.

Press the 

@

 or 

 A

 button to set a different fan setting.

Note: 

The appliance has three fan settings and an intensive 

setting. To set the lowest setting, press 

A

 once. If you press it 

more frequently, the appliance will switch off again.

Switching off

Press the 

A

 button until the appliance switches off.

Intensive setting

You can use the intensive setting if there is a large build-up of 

odours and fumes/vapours.
Press the 

@

 button until you hear the appliance switch into 

intensive mode.

Note: 

The run time of the intensive mode is 4 minutes. Once 

this time has elapsed, the appliance switches back to fan level 

2.

Fan run-on

With fan run-on, the appliance switches off automatically after 

10 minutes.
Press the 

y

 button.

Note: 

The fan run-on is only activatable in fan levels 1-3.

Lighting

The lighting can be switched on and off independently of the 

ventilation system.
Press the 

B

 button.

RGB function

Press the 

P

 button repeatedly until the desired colour is set.

Note: 

You can set the colour in the following sequence:

Red

Green

Blue

Cyan

Yellow

Magenta

Setting the brightness

Press and hold the 

B

 button until the desired brightness is 

reached.

Saturation signal

If the filters are saturated, an audible signal sounds:

Three consecutive audible signals: Clean the metal grease 

filters

Six consecutive audible signals: Replace the activated 

charcoal filters

Resetting the saturation signal

Press the 

y

 button.

An audible signal sounds for three seconds.

Note: 

The appliance switches off the saturation signal 

automatically after 20 hours.

Switching over the appliance to air recirculation

1.

Switch off the appliance.

2.

Press and hold the 

y

 button for four seconds until an audible 

signal sounds.

The electronic control is switched over to air recirculation.

Switching over the appliance to air extraction

1.

Switch off the appliance.

2.

Press and hold the 

y

 button for four seconds until two 

audible signals sound.

The electronic control is switched over to air extraction.
