Checking the hardware
L
First make sure that the system is switched off and de-energized.
L
Check the nameplates and the engineering documents for the proper in-
verter type and the correct motor installed.
Do not continue the commissioning procedure unless the correct hardware
has been installed!
L
Follow the instructions below step by step.
Wiring
CAUTION
Never unplug or plug connectors/terminals on live systems!
L
Check the complete wiring of the drive on the basis of the information pro-
vided in the ”Servodyn-D interface conditions” manual and the ”EMC
manual” (including resistance measurement).
L
Unplug all connectors from all drive inverters.
Power supply
L
Turn the 24 V supply on. Measure the voltage of the 24V supply at the con-
nector.
It must be between 20.8 ... 28.8 V.
L
Turn the power supply on and measure the voltage.
It must be between 360...506 V.
L
Turn the power supply and the 24 V supply off.
Do not proceed unless all connectors/terminals are de-energized.
L
Plug in all connectors/terminals at the inverters. Check connectors for
proper assignment.
L
Turn the 24 V supply on.
When switched on, first, the selected parameter list will be displayed for a
moment, then the following display will appear:
Computer has been booted
TEMP, no temperature warning
STA, no fault
EMERGENCY-STOP circuit
L
Check for proper functioning according to planning engineer’s data.
Finish checking
L
Switch off all voltages.
L
If all checks were completed successfully, proceed to the next section.
Otherwise, all faults that have occurred must be eliminated.
