At the end of the useful life of this device, dispose of the components according to all state, federal,
and local regulations.
Preventive Maintenance
WARNING: To prevent equipment damage that could result in
personal injury, follow all maintenance/replacement guidelines.
Vertical adjustment screws and pivot joints are high wear locations. The following
maintenance and replacement schedules MUST be adhered to:
• Grease every 200 uses (or 3 months). When cart is empty, apply grease directly to
the threads of the 4 vertical adjustment screws and run the screws up and down to
ensure complete coverage. Use grease zerks to lubricate the 4 pivot joints.
See Figure 10.
• Replace all the vertical adjustment screw components every 5 years to ensure
optimal function of the cart is maintained. See service kits SP04521323 and
SP04521324. For full replacement order two of each kit.
• Rubber skid pad is a non-conductive surface between the battery and the fixture. To
reduce wear and tear on rubber skid pads:
1) Apply all loads slowly and carefully
2) Limit horizontal movement of any applied load with straps.
• If rubber pads are ripped, torn, or exposing
metal, order replacement
kit# SP04521322.
