Installation/Configuration Notes
Mounting Considerations
The Remote Annunciator can be surface mounted in the
supplied back box or flush mounted using a 3‑gang
electrical box.
Note
The annunciator should be mounted no higher
than shoulder height of the shortest person
operating the system.
Wiring Considerations
Use four conductor, 18 AWG (0.8 mm
2
) or larger wire to
connect the Remote Annunciator to the Option Bus of the
FACP. The total length of wire connected to the Option Bus
terminals must not exceed 4000 ft (1219 m), regardless of
the wire gauge used. Refer to FPA‑1000‑UL Installation and
Operation Guide (F01U075420) for detailed wire length
calculations.
