Timer-2h operation mode
The appliance runs at maximum output for 2 hours. It then reverts to the
previous operation mode. The maximum possible temperature is limited
to 32 °C.
The operation mode can for example be used to heat the room or hand
towels more quickly.
▶ Press the
key to switch off the standby function.
▶ Press the
key until the
symbol appears.
The Timer-2h operation mode is activated.
To cancel the operation mode:
▶ Press the
key again.

Button lock operations
To avoid accidental changes to the settings, the keys of the appliance can
be locked.
To lock all functions:
▶ Press and hold the
key for 3 seconds.
The keylock symbol
appears on the display.
To unlock the functions:
▶ Hold the
key pressed for 3 seconds when the appliance is
locked.
The keylock symbol
disappears.

Open-window detection
This function detects a sudden drop in temperature, if a window in the
room is opened for example. It then switches the appliance off for 30
minutes at the most. After 30 minutes, or if the temperature in the room
increases by at least 1.5 °C, the appliance reverts to the previous
operation mode.
▶ Press the
key to activate the standby function.
▶ Hold the
key pressed down until the
message appears in
the upper part of the display.
▶ Press and hold the
key until
appears on the display.
▶ Press the
key until the
symbol flashes in the upper part of
the display.
▶ Press the
key to activate the function.
▶ Press the
key to deactivate the function.
If the “open-window detection” function is activated, the
symbol appears in the centre of the display.
If the “open-window detection” function is not activated, the
symbol appears in the centre of the display.
▶ Press the
key to confirm the setting.
If the appliance detects that a window is open, the symbol
flashes.
The symbol flashes until the open-window detection function ends or is
switched off.
The appliance cannot detect if a window is open in the following cases:
▶ The appliance is located in an isolated part of the room where it is not
exposed to draughts.
▶ The appliance is positioned near a heat source.
▶ The temperature fluctuation in the room is insufficient.

ASC function
This function optimises the operating times of the appliance in order to
reduce consumption.
The appliance records the time required to bring the room up to the set
temperature and adjusts its operation accordingly. This allows the
temperature to be reached more quickly.
▶ Press the
key to activate the standby function.
▶ Hold the
key pressed down until the
message appears in
the upper part of the display.
▶ Press and hold the
key until the message
appears on the
display.
▶ Press the
key until the
symbol flashes in the upper part
of the display.
▶ Press the
key to activate the function.
▶ Press the
key to deactivate the function.
If the ASC function is activated, the
symbol appears in the
centre of the display.
If the ASC function is not activated, the
symbol appears in the
centre of the display.
▶ Press the
key to confirm the setting.
The appliance automatically reverts to the Standby function.
▶ Select and switch on the required function or operating mode.

Resetting the appliance
To reset the appliance:
▶ Disconnect the appliance from the mains for at least 2 hours.

Cleaning and maintenance
Conventional cleaning agents, which are intended for cleaning painted
surfaces, can be used to clean the external surface of the radiator.
No intervention whatsoever is permitted in the engineering design of the
product.
▶ Do not use abrasive or caustic cleaning agents.
▶ Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect it from the power supply
and allow it to dry before reconnecting.
▶ Do not place the connecting lead on the heated radiator.
▶ Do not remove the control unit, screw fittings and electric booster
heater.
▶ Prevent ingress of water into the electrical components.
▶ Dust appliance at least twice a year to guarantee optimum
performance.
