COUN�

 option displays the number of tires filled 

only if the initial pressure difference during inflation 
is greater than 10 Psi.

�nitiating nitrogen generation

After the NTI 1000 is powered on, nitrogen generation 
starts automatically.

 

To manually stop the nitrogen generation, press the 

key

.

The message 

CMS  solenoid  valves  OFF

 is dis-

played on the LCD.

 

To start the nitrogen generation again, press the 

v

 

key.

The message 

CMS solenoid valves ON

 is displayed 

on the LCD.

To switch on the CMS valves, press 

 (Inflate) or the 

key. To switch off, press the 

z

 key.

�ire inflation

Observe the tank pressure. It should be 10 bar. If the 
pressure is lower, wait till the pressure reaches 10 
bar.

 

i

Usually the filling pressure is mentioned beneath 
the front door handle beside the driver's seat of the 
vehicle. Open the front door and observe the filling 
pressure. Else, refer to the vehicle user's manual.

Select nitrogen or air inflation using the selector 
switch.

In the main menu, press 

.

To change the unit between 

Bar or PS�, 

press the 

UN��

 key.

3. 

Connect the filling nozzle to the tire.

4. 

Press 

Enter

.

 

Hold the filling nozzle to the tire until the set pres-
sure is reached. After the set pressure is reached, 
a long beep is heard and the red LED glows.

5. 

Remove the filling nozzle and connect it to the next 
tire.

The  tire  inflation  resumes  automatically  within  15 
seconds without pressing the 

EN�ER

 key. To stop tire 

inflation, press 

Abort

.

�ire deflation

1. 

In the main menu, press

Select the required deflation option.

If 

Normal

 is selected, the tire is deflated till atmo-

spheric pressure. If 

Vacuum

 is selected, the tire is 

deflated till 800 mbar.

It is recommended to select the option 

Vacuum

 only 

if the vacuum pump is mounted. If the vacuum pump 
is not mounted and the option 

Vacuum 

is selected, 

the tire is deflated only till atmospheric pressure. 

3. 

Connect the filling nozzle to the tire.

4. 

Hold the filling nozzle till the tire gets deflated.

 

After the set pressure is reached, a long beep is 
heard and the red LED glows. The message 

TIRE 

DEFLATION COMPLETED

 is displayed on the LCD. 

The main menu is displayed.

5. 

Remove the air filling connector and connect it to 
the next tire. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for all the tires. To 
stop tire deflation, press 

Abort

.

�ire inflation counter

 

In the main menu, press

"

The number of tires filled is displayed. After about 10 
seconds the message is dismissed automatically and 
the main menu is displayed.
