The PWM signal is defined by the NYCe 4000 software through the PWM
frequency parameter specified in Hz, and the duty cycle parameter specified
in %. These two parameters are internally converted to pulse duration "a" and
pulse pause duration "b" (see
fig. 9-8 "PWM signal specification parameters"
) which can only have a discrete increment step size. The
