Maintenance and servicing
Risk of injury and suffocation!
Risk of suffocation due to uncontrolled release of a greater volume of gas and risk
of injury due to entrained components.
Always use the charging and test device for the control of the pre-filling
f
pressure.
Risk of explosion!
Risk of severe injuries due to explosion of the hydraulic accumulator during the
charging of the bladder-type accumulator with inadmissible gas.
Only charge the bladder-type accumulator with nitrogen 99.99 percent by volume.
f
Crush injuries and fractures!
Falling or rolling bladder-type accumulators may lead to severe injuries.
Use appropriate lifting gear for the lifting of the bladder-type accumulator.
f
Secure the bladder-type accumulator against unintended rolling.
f
Risk of injury!
Parts flying around due to the residual pressure that is still present after the
discharge may lead to severe injuries.
Check the residual pressure in the bladder-type accumulator after the heating
f
up to the ambient temperature, before opening the gas valve.
Maintenance activities for the bladder-type accumulator
To check the pre-filling pressure of the bladder-type accumulator, proceed as follows:
Make sure that the system is depressurized.
f
The pre-filling pressure p
f
0
is indicated on the type cap of the bladder-type
accumulator.
Risk of injury and suffocation!
Risk of suffocation due to uncontrolled release of a greater volume of gas and risk
of injury due to entrained components.
Make sure that the working space is sufficiently ventilated.
f
Always use the charging and test device for the control of the pre-filling
f
pressure.
Remove the protective sleeve and the sealing cap from the gas side of the
f
bladder-type accumulator.
Screw the charging and test valve for hydraulic accumulators onto the gas
f
valve of the bladder-type accumulator. When doing this, always observe the
operating manual of the charging and test device.
Check whether the pre-filling pressure indicated on the charging and test
f
device corresponds to the value p
0
indicated on the type cap. If the two
values differ, set the pre-filling pressure as described in chapter 7.2 "Initial
commissioning".
Remove the charging and test valve for hydraulic accumulators from the gas
f
valve of the bladder-type accumulator.
Screw the sealing cap and the protective sleeve back on the accumulator.
f
The pre-filling pressure is now checked and set.
