10.4 Electric connection
10.4.1 Connecting 24 V DC to the UPS and panel or control cabinet PC
External power supply unit
A 24 V voltage supply supplies the UPS.
Use the Bosch Rexroth power supply unit VAP01.1H-W23-024-010-NN (see
ter 5.1 "External 24 V power supply unit " on page 6
). For further information on
the external power supply unit and on the creation of overvoltage categories, re-
fer to the documentation of the power supply unit.
All lines of the 24 V voltage supply have to be routed separately from lines carry-
ing higher voltages.
Damage to the panel PC, control cabinet PC
and UPS if connected under voltage.
NOTICE
Ensure that the panel PC, control cabinet PC and UPS are disconnected from
voltage before routing.
Routing the UPS, cable lengths and cable cross-sections
Destruction of screw terminals, insufficient con-
tact and loss of UL certification if no copper
wire is used and/or wrong tightening torque.
NOTICE
Use only copper wires to wire the connection terminals. Tighten the screws of
the screw terminal blocks using a torque of 5.5 lb in (0.6 Nm).
Observe the following cable lengths and cross-sections if the provided connect-
ing cables are not used:
