Personal injury and property damage during in-
stallation work!
WARNING
●
Do not work on unsecured and operating machines.
●
Before working, secure the machine against accidental movements and
against unauthorized operation.
●
Secure the motor and the supply lines against dropping or movements before
unfastening the mechanical connections.
Combustions via hot surface with temperatures
over 60 ℃
CAUTION
Let the motor cool down, before maintenance. The thermal time constant stated
in the technical data is a measure for the cooling time. A cooling time up to 140
minutes can be necessary!
Use safety gloves.
Do not work on hot surfaces.
In the case of malfunctions, maintenance, or disassembly of the motors, pro-
ceed as follows:
1. Use the control commands to decelerate the drive to a controlled stand-
still.
2. Switch off the power and control voltage of the controller.
3. Switch off the main switch of the machine.
4. Secure the machine against accidental movements and against unauthor-
ized operation.
5. Wait for the cooldown times of the motor and the discharge time of the
electrical systems to elapse.
6. Disconnect all electrical connections.
7. Before disassembling the motor and the supply lines, secure them against
dropping or movements. Subsequently, disconnect the mechanical connec-
tions.
