Troubleshooting
14.1
General
Hazardous movements!
In the case of fault, hazardous movements of
the self-contained servo-hydraulic linear axis
may occur. This means that there is a risk of
injury.
WARNING
●
Keep out of the range of motion of the self-contained servo-hydraulic lin‐
ear axis and other moving system parts during troubleshooting.
●
Prevent unintended access of persons (e.g. by fencing off, covering).
●
Before reaching into or accessing the danger zone, bring the self-con‐
tained servo-hydraulic linear axis safely to a standstill.
●
Before starting work at live components: Disconnect the self-contained
servo-hydraulic linear axis and the drive controller at the system side
from the voltage supplies and secure the shutdown feature against un‐
authorized or unintentional restarting.
●
Disconnect the drive controller from all voltage supplies.
●
After switching off the supply voltages, wait until the discharge time of
the link of the drive controller of at least 30 minutes has passed.
●
Check that the voltage has fallen below 50 V before touching live parts!
It is possible to make a backup of parameters. For information on
reading parameter backups, please see the application manual of
MPx-20, see
chapter 1.2 "Required and supplementary docu‐
In the event of a fault, a further parameter backup has to be
made. A comparison with the parameter set stored last (during
operation) simplifies troubleshooting and helps you to quickly re‐
store the configuration.

How to proceed for troubleshooting
●
Troubleshooting may exclusively be carried out by Bosch Rexroth or by
authorized and qualified personnel of a specialized company that was
authorized by Bosch Rexroth. Moreover, training is required with regard
to IndraDrive and self-contained servo-hydraulic linear axes.
Bosch Rexroth offers measures that support your qualification in
specific fields. You can find an overview of training contents on
●
Always work systematically and purposefully, even when under time
pressure. Random and imprudent disassembly and changing of settings
can result in the inability to determine the original cause of error.
●
First obtain a general overview of how your product works in conjunction
with the entire system.
●
Try to find out whether the product has functioned properly in conjunc‐
tion with the overall system before the fault occurred.
