Cleaning and care
Systems that are still running!
Risk of injury! The work steps described in
this chapter may only be performed on shut
down systems. Before beginning work:
WARNING
●
Make sure that the drive motor cannot be switched on.
●
Ensure that all force-transmitting components and connections are
(electrically) switched off and secured against restarting according to the
manufacturer's specifications. If possible, remove the main fuse of the
system. Verify with the help of calibrated measuring equipment that
there is no voltage applied.
Solvents and aggressive cleaning agents!
Aggressive cleaning agents can damage the
seals of the self-contained servo-hydraulic
linear axis and make them age faster.
NOTICE
●
Never use solvents or aggressive cleaning agents.
Ingress of dirt and liquids!
The reliable operation of the self-contained
servo-hydraulic linear axis and the drive con‐
troller is thus no longer ensured.
NOTICE
●
When carrying out any work on the self-contained servo-hydraulic linear
axis and on the drive controller, observe strictest cleanliness.
●
Do not use high-pressure washers or hose water.
For cleaning and care of self-contained servo-hydraulic linear axes, please
observe the following:
●
Plug all openings with suitable protective caps/devices.
●
Check that all seals and plugs of the plug-in connections are tightly
seated to ensure that no moisture can enter the self-contained servo-hy‐
draulic linear axis during cleaning.
●
Remove external coarse dirt and keep sensitive and important parts
clean.
●
Use lint-free cloths for cleaning.
