This feature facilitates setting up the system with a ground cable for the user.
A maximum of 5 linked system boxes is recommended. A higher number of system boxes would not
comply with other valid guidelines.
Regardless of the more efficient system configuration by linking, the additional 10 mm

the other system boxes may not be disrupted when removing a system box (for repair, etc.)!

Workpiece and tightening system
When these guidelines are followed, the tightening systems comply with valid directives and do not
require any further measures.
The ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunner is sufficiently grounded via the connection cable. The lines are
generally equipped with an EMC shield to protect against impermissible electromagnetic influences.
Coupled interferences are conducted to ground via these shields.

Leakage currents due to potential differences
In practice, the CS351 compact system, or the installation location of card rack fields or system boxes,
is often a large distance away from the workpiece. Due to the various ground potentials/grounding
points, potential differences may occur. These potential differences can result in stray currents on the
hand-held nutrunner and the CS351 compact system. This can influence the monitoring unit for torque
detection.
Ensure a defined potential equalization between the ErgoSpin/tightening spindle and the
workpiece (see Fig. ).
