Tables
illustrate how the ID codes are used in the results output in relation to the ID code
availability. The ID code must be available before the start of the tightening application (
FO x Cw
) or the
tightening channel (
Ch x.y Cw
or
Ch x.y Ccw
).
ID codes for
application
The file name for the ID code is
ID_FO_x.dat
Where
x
is a placeholder for the number of the signal block
(x, 1-8), via which the tightening application (0-47) is started.
ID codes for
controlling single
channels
The file name for the ID code is
ID_CH_rr_s.dat
Where
rr
specifies the card rack field (rack, 0-15) and
s
the slot (slot, 1-6, from left to right) in this card rack field.
Configuration of the tightening system as an FTP-server
The tightening system has to be configured as an FTP server in order to receive the
ID code files
. As a
result, the partner controller has write access to the
IDCode
directory.
Access to the tightening systems's mass storage is protected by user name and password. The FTP client
of the partner controller must thus log in (using the commands
user [user name]
and
pass [password]
),
before it can transfer a file (in this example, with the command
put ID_CH_00_1.dat
).
To configure the tightening system as an FTP server:
1.
In the BS350 operating system of the tightening system, click
System
Tightening cell
data
FTP
.
2.
Select the
ID code
index card.
3.
Select the
Activated
option.
4.
Enter the user name and password to access the FTP server.
Only one user account can be created on the FTP server for the tightening system. However, two
sessions can be active at the same time, both of which may use this user account.
Admissible characters in the ID-Code-file
In order to be able to generate a valid file name from the string in the
ID code file
, the characters used
must correspond to the file name conventions for MS-DOS. Amongst others, the following are admissible:
•
a-z
•
A-Z
•
0-9
•
_ (underscore)
All other characters (including periods (.) and empty spaces) are accepted by the tightening system and
displayed unchanged in the results output. In the file name, an underscore ( _ ) will be used instead of
them.
The general ID code settings can be found in section
The options "Delete ID code after start" and "Extend ID code with sequence number" are supported when
transferring ID codes via FTP.
Example
For a tightening application started via application block4, the file name is
ID_FO_4.dat
.
Example
For slot 2 in card rack field 02 (i.e. at the start of the channel named
Ch 2.2 Cw
), the file name is
ID_CH_02_2.dat
.
The configured information on user name and password must be entered in the partner controller's FTP
client in order for the FTP client to be able to log in to the tightening system's FTP server.
