Description of the Tightening System 350
The components of the tightening system are briefly described below.
The electrical, electronic, and programmable system components of the
Tightening System 350
do not
contain
any safety components
within the meaning of the machinery directive
2006/42/EC
. Thus, these
components are
not
covered by the standard
EN ISO 13849
"Safety-related control parts".
3.4.1
CS351 compact system
The CS351 compact system efficiently contains the entire control and power electronics for one
tightening channel. It can withstand ambient temperatures of up to +40
°
C without an air conditioning
unit and thus helps reduce operating costs. It is protected according to IP54.
The following types of compact systems are available:

Compact systems operated self-dependently (see Figure
•
Compact systems operated as slave of a modular system (as of BS350 operating system version
V2.200)
•
Compact systems with integrated computer unit (as of version BS350 operating system V2.400)
