General instructions
•
Internally, the operation status is reset on PQD sending. For this reason, repeated sending (second
attempt) is not possible.
•
PQD sending does not return any error code (on application level). If the connection to the tandem
switch is not interrupted/disturbed, "StartReport" always returns OK even if the data cannot be
logged into PLUS (e.g. in case of an incorrect ID code). This restriction is caused by the Daimler PQD
Protocol, not by the tightening system firmware.
•
On application start
CCW,
previously recorded results are overwritten by the (NOK) channel results
(status of the tightening position is typically reset to
NOK
on loosening in application operation).
Caution: This behavior is different in single-channel operation (loosening programs are typically not
assigned to QIs as there is no program number match)!
•
If data is not to be transmitted to PLUS for specific tightening processes, internal data processing
can be prevented by setting the
FOx_DisRp
signal.
•
The position information is always evaluated. For applications without positioning, a fixed position
number must be transmitted and also configured in BS350 (typically
00
).
•
In application operation, results with active bypass are ignored (rework via bypass does not affect
existing results).
•
Untightened QIs are marked with FEN31 (configurable via BS350).
•
Max. number of tightening positions: limited to approx. 230 tightening positions (max. 32 PLUS data
blocks are transmitted; per PLUS data block, 2000 bytes of data are available, this corresponds to
a total of 64 kBytes - 230 results).
