Interface selection
Interface selection is only possible if the results output (for
PLC1 (3964R)
or
PLC2 (3964R)
) has been
activated. For this, click the
Activated
checkbox.
Set the (RS232) interface that you want to use to communicate with the partner controller. You can only
select interfaces that are equipped and not currently occupied by other services

Here you select which protocol you would like to use. The partner controller’s setting must correspond
to this setting.

Results transfer settings
Results
The results to be output are set in the
Results
panel

. If
Out
has been set, then results output via the
3964 protocol is inactive, i. e. no more results data will be written in the data elements and transferred.
The interface is, however, still activated for ID-code transmission to the Tightening System 350.
Results values
Here you can set whether just the actual values from the monitoring functions should be transferred, or if
the set values should also be transferred

1) Interface selection is done with the operating system, but also by correctly wiring the interface plug.
Only one standard (RS232, RS422, 20mA) may be active per interface.
Using the
Activated
checkbox, you can deactivate results output via 3964R protocol without changing
the communication unit's configuration.
2) This setting does not influence results outputs with other data services.
