A multi-channel tightening system based on the compact system consists of the following components:
•
Card rack field (BT356) or system box (SB356), each with network coupler (NK350S), see
•
Compact system (CS351x-D NK) with network coupler (NK350)
•
ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunner or tightening spindle(s) with connection cables
The job functionality

provides an additional networking option. In this case, compact systems can accept the role of the master,
similar to BT356 and SB356 in figure
. The master CS351 can then communicate with up to three
slave CS351 and control them. The communication between master CS351 and slave CS351 is effected
via the data service Rexroth Open Protocol, see
.
Programming
Programming is implemented via a laptop or PC.

While a tightening system is in a tightening, tightening channels not involved in the tightening must neither
be activated nor deactivated or reset using the Reset pushbutton. Not involved tightening channels must
only be activated, deactivated, or reset outside of tightenings. Otherwise, an acknowledgeable error is
issued.
