Single-phase electrical system
3.7
The electrical system that is being used is protected by fuses and thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, so, in case of
malfunctions, always disconnect the tyre changer from the power network.
Description and function of the components:
Q1 - main switch
3.7.1
In normal operating conditions has to be set on 1 ON. This device powers up or off the entire electrical circuit.
Q2 - tripolar motor protector
3.7.2
Protects from electrical surges the motor of the hydraulic control panel, in case of activation of the device check
that the motor protector is correctly calibrated, the motor connections and its correct electrical absorption.
F4 and F5 - protection fuses of the primary circuit of the T transformer
3.7.3
They usually blow up in case of electrical surges, so check that the mains supply tension is correct, the connec-
tions on the primary circuit of the transformer itself and in case of replacement check that the amperage is correct
(1A).
F6 - protection fuse of the low-tension circuit of the secondary of the T transformer
3.7.4
This fuse protects the low tension 24VDC direct current circuit. In case of replacement check that the amperage is
correct (2A). In case the fuse blows check that no solenoids of the electrovalves are grounded, that the selectors
of the movements have not been damaged and that they do not discharge to earth and that they are not short-
circuited, same thing could apply for the coil of the remote control switch of the hydraulic pump.
Press the pedal and check if the electricity continues to go off; if the motor is disconnected and electricity con-
!
tinues to go off, proceed with the replacement of the inverter or of the 2 speed switch. If the defect does not
appear, replace only the motor. To proceed to replacement of the motor follow the electric diagrams.
