Prepare the appliance
The washing machine was tested before
delivery. To remove residual water from
the test procedure, the first wash cycle
should be run without laundry using the
Drum clean
programme.

Turn the tap on.

Open the washing machine door.
Adjusting the washing
programme
Turn the programme selector to the
desired programme (e.g. Cotton
programme). The presettings and
maximum load are indicated in the
display field.
You can use the displayed presettings
or adjust the selected programme to
best suit the items you are washing by
changing the presettings or selecting
additional options.

Loading laundry in the drum

Load the laundry.
Close the door. The
Start/Reload
indicator light flashes.
Notes

Unfold and load presorted items of
laundry. Mix large and small items.
Items of different sizes distribute
themselves better during the spin
cycle. Individual items of laundry
may cause an unbalanced load.
■
Ensure that no laundry items are
trapped between the door and the
rubber seal.
