REPLACING THE CUTTING WIRE
EN
CLEANING
•
Clean the Parmesan Pro daily after final use.
•
The Parmesan Pro needs to be cleaned between switching to a different type of cheese to
prevent cross-contamination.
•
Use hot water, a soft brush and a neutral cleaning detergent, such as green soap or dish soap,
to clean the Parmesan Pro.
•
Do not use water hotter than 70°C (160°F) to prevent damage to the plastic parts.
•
Never use hard brushes, scratching materials, soda- chlorine- disinfectant or aggresive cleaning
detergents for cleaning.
•
Flush the Parmesan Pro with water after cleaning. Dry the machine thouroughly to prevent
deterioration of parts due to dust and moisture.
WARNINGS
•
The Parmesan Pro is used exclusively for cutting semi-hard cheeses without rind.
•
Always wear safety goggles while using the Parmesan Pro.
•
Always make an incision in the rind (top, sides and corners).
•
Always use a straight wire. In case the wire is bended or has a crack, first replace the wire with
a new one.
•
A towel on top of the cheese and cutting wire presents the wire from cutting you in case it
breaks.
•
Do not lean over the Parmesan Pro, when exerting strength.
1. Flip the Parmesan Pro over.
2. Turn the black ring which is attached to the metal bar, until the gap reaches the screw (do not
turn the screw!). Repeat this on the other side.
3. Remove the wire.
4. Insert the new wire from the topside of the Parmesan Pro with one side of the wire on each
side of the gap.
5. Place the eye of wire over the screw.
6. Twist the black ring again until the wire is ‘locked’ again. Repeat this on the other side.
