SETUP/ INSTALLATION (CONT)

Turn the control valve in the clockwise direction until completely closed

and in the advance position (see Figure 2).

Position the puller and attachments around the part to be pulled. Remove

the slack by threading the puller down or adjusting the puller legs.

Pump the handle until the removable cone touches the shaft.

Adjust the centreline to ensure the puller is on the same plane as the

shaft.
