INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The welding equipment is equipped with power voltage compensation device. It keeps the machine work
normally when power voltage fluctuating ±15% of rated voltage.
When using long cable, in order to reduce voltage drop, a large diameter extension cable is suggested. If
the cable is too long, it will affect the performance of arcing and other system function. TREO 175
Installation Procedures
1. Correct Installation of MIG
1. Connect the gas hose to the rear of the machine with quick gas fitting.
2. Fit regulator to gas cylinder and connect hose to regulator.
3. Insert the swift plug of earth cable into “+” socket at the front panel.
4. Mount the wire spool to the spool post.
5. Fit the Drive roller with the correct groove to suit the wire size.
6. Loosen the pressure roll assembly screw; fit the wire through the inlet guide tube, over the drive
roller and into the outlet guide tube. Adjust the wire-pressure wheel to push the wire through the
mig gun.
7. Wire roll should turn in a clockwise direction to let out wire.
8. Attach and tighten the torch on the output socket and feed the wire through the torch
2. Correct Installation of Gasless wire
1. Insert the Dinse plug of earth cable into “-" socket at the front panel.
2. Mount the wire spool to the spool post.
3. Fit the Drive roller with the correct groove to suit the wire size.
4. Loosen the pressure roll assembly screw, fit the wire through the inlet guide tube, over the drive
roller and into the outlet guide tube. Adjust the wire-pressure wheel to push the wire through the
mig gun.
5. Attach and tighten the torch on the output socket and feed the wire through the torch
3. Correct Installation of LIFT TIG
1. Connect the gas hose to the TIG torch with quick gas fitting.
2. Fit regulator to gas cylinder and connect hose to regulator.
3. Connect the Dinse plug of TIG torch to “-“of the front panel, and fasten it clockwise.
4. Connect the plug of TIG torch to the relative interfaces of panel and fasten the screw.
5. Connect the earth clamp cable to “+” of the front panel, and fasten the Dinse plug.
4. Correct Installation of STICK
1. Connect the electrode holder Dinse plug to the socket “+” of the machine, and fasten it clockwise
tightly.
2. Connect the earth Dinse plug at one end of the cable into the socket “-” of the machine, and
fasten it clockwise, the other end clamps the work piece.
This procedure shall be operated by electrician! NOT GRAMATICALLY CORRECT
Connect proper power cable to the distribution box with corresponding capacity according to the input
voltage and current
(See technical parameter table).
Do not connect to the inappropriate voltage and make sure that the difference of power supply is within
permitted range.
