Bot’n Roll ONE A User Assembling Manual
4.2. ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY
For the electronics assembly you require the following
tools (not supplied with the robot):
Soldering iron
Soldering wire
De-soldering pump
Cutng pliers
IMPORTANT NOTE:
In this stage, all electronic components are soldered to the Printed Circuit Board.
For a correct soldering process, we strongly recommend all components to be soldered sequentally as
presented in this manual. Bad soldering can cause destructon of components and printed circuit board,
therefore, before you start soldering you must read the “crash course on Soldering” available on Bot’n
Roll ONE A supplied manuals.
4.2.1. PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD (PCB)
The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) contains small
holes to insert the electronic components.
The silk screen printng (descripton of
components in white) identfes the positon and
orientaton of each electronic component on the
Printed Circuit Board.
The Printed Circuit Board acts as a base for the
electronic components and contains all the
connectons between them, according to the
wiring diagram of the robot.
You must insert the components respectng the serigraphy (white letters) but solder them on the
opposite side. It is not necessary to solder the components on the serigraphy side because the holes are
plated and therefore they allow the passage of electric current.
