3. DESCRIPTION
3.1 OPERATION AND HANDLING
The XCALIBUR crowd gate is intended exclusively:
• to guide the cows in the waiting area to the milking stall.
The XCALIBUR crowd gate is further intended:
• to push manure during reverse or forward operation.
Any other types of use not listed here do not comply with the intended purpose and shall therefore be considered
as unauthorized use!
BouMatic draws particular attention to the fact that it is prohibited:
• to guide animals other than cows with this crowd gate or to hit, force or injure animals with the crowd
gate.
The manufacturer/supplier shall not be liable for any damage arising from such use. The risk and responsibility lie
solely with the user.
The hydraulic power pack provides enough pressure to ensure proper functioning. The hydraulic power pack trans-
mits pressure through three hydraulic hoses to the cylinders. This unit will control the upwards and downwards
movement of the crowd gate.
Before the crowd gate is put into operation, the following items must be checked:
•
Make sure there is enough oil in the reservoir of the hydraulic mini power pack.
•
Make sure that the rotation direction of the drive is equal to the arrow.
•
Make sure that the hydraulic system is sufficiently vented before operating it.
