3. Clean the engine radiator.

DO NOT check or clean the engine radiator until it is cool to the touch.
a. Remove the protective cover screen (Item 1,
Figure 4–18
).

b. Using compressed air or a garden hose (Item 1,
Figure 4–19
), spray air (water) through
the engine radiator from the outside to remove any built up dirt or debris on the inside
surface of the engine radiator.
DO NOT
use high pressure water (pressure washer, etc.) to clean the radiator. Severe damage
to the radiator could be caused.
