When the scrub deck is lowered, the side squeegees operate best when adjusted to optimal defl ection height.
The side squeegee blades should slightly fl are outward when the scrub deck is lowered. Check the squeegee
blade defl ections daily to maintain peak performance.
The optimal defl ection of the side squeegee blades is approximately ½ in (1.25 cm). See below for a guide to
adjusting the side squeegees to optimal defl ection heights.
Optimal Squeegee Defl ection:
½ in (1.25 cm)
Not Enough Squeegee Defl ection
Too Much Squeegee Defl ection
NOTE
:
THE OPTIMAL SQUEEGEE CONTACT POINT IS ON ONE CORNER ONLY, LIKE A WINDSHIELD WIPER
OR RECORD PLAYER NEEDLE. THIS WILL CHANNEL WATER CORRECTLY.
Perform the following steps to adjust the defl ection height of the side squeegee:
1. Park the machine on a level, fl at surface and turn
off.
2. Put on appropriate personal protective
equipment if the machine has recently been used.
3. Loosen the two top larger knobs of the side
squeegee assembly.
4. Tighten the two bottom smaller knobs to secure
the side squeegee assembly in the desired height
and position. Do not over-tighten.
5. Turn on the machine and press the One-Touch
button to lower the scrub deck.
6. Verify that the side squeegee blades are lowered
to the optimal defl ection height.
