Wait until the freezer has reached the recommended temperature before putting the food back
in it.
Refreezing a thawed product encourages the spread of bacteria. This may become a health
hazard if the bacteria that spreads are pathogens, as these may cause more or less serious food
poisoning depending on the type of bacteria involved. If in doubt, cook the food involved.

Heavy build-up
of frost on the
door seal.
The door seal is not sealing.
Carefully warm the leaking sections of the
door seal with a hair dryer (on a cool
setting). At the same time, handle the
heated door seal with your hands to ensure
that the appliance seals.
Water on the
floor.
Water drain hole is blocked.

Appliance
surfaces are
hot when in
use.
This is normal. Heat exchanger
parts are located in the sidewalls.
Wear gloves when touching the sidewalls if
necessary.
Unusual noises
The appliance is not level.
Readjust the feet.
The appliance is touching the wall
or other objects.
Move the appliance slightly.
A component, e.g. a pipe, on the
rear of the appliance is touching
another part of the appliance or
the wall.
If necessary, carefully bend the component
out of the way.
